
Adam Litteken #6 Scholarship 2025 Winner - Thomas Summers!
We are proud to announce that the winner of the 2025 Adam Litteken #6 Scholarship Award is Thomas Summers!
Thomas’ parents are Gary and Jen Summers from St. Peters, Missouri. Thomas has a cumulative GPA of 3.5714 and has played ice hockey for Francis Howell Central (FHC) High School for many years and was chosen as captain of the varsity team during the 2024-2025 season. He has also played for the St. Peters Ice Hockey Club (18UAA, 16U AA, 16U A, Bantam A). Since July of 2024 Thomas has worked part time as a Lifeguard at The RecPlex and other outdoor pools in St.Peters. He believes that over the years sports has defined who he is as a person and becoming a leader was a huge goalof his. Thomas said, “I personally love being a leader in every aspect of my life because it’s something I really enjoy doingand I feel that I can make a positive impact on others and myself.”
Todd Boyer, FHC Industrial Technology Instructor stated, “I have known Thomas for 3 years now, and I have been privileged to have him as a student in my Woodworking and Carpentry classes. I currently have Thomas as my teacher’s assistant due to his leadership ability, responsibility, and character. Thomas has an outstanding work ethic, which has helped him to achieve high grades and respect from his teachers at Francis Howell Central High School.” Thomas has accepted an offer and is planning to attend Missouri State University in the fall and major in Hospitality Leadership and minor in Business.
At this year’s FHC Ice Hockey Banquet the Litteken family were honored to present this scholarship award to Thomas.They are thankful to the entire FHC Ice Hockey Club as they continue to understand the true meaning of the award and allow them to honor Adam’s memory. Amanda Bond, Adam’s sister stated, “2025 marks the 18th year of awarding this scholarship in Adam’s memory. It’s incredible that we have gotten to do this for almost two decades and we are so grateful!” Following tradition, Thomas receives the $1,000 scholarship, personalized plaque,
